A Saturday morning mission in Whitchurch for Gary and myself to help Ms K in her new home.

Being visually impaired and struggling with her back following a recent fall, she’s been having to sleep on the sofa for the past couple of weeks which has exacerbated her back problem and so our task today was to sort out her bedroom so that she can get a good night’s sleep.

This involved putting together two wardrobes (not straightforward given that there were no instructions) and a double bed, a sizeable task, with a fair bit of head scratching, but really enjoyable and Gary was definitely in his element as GoodGym’s very own handyman!

Spurred on by Ms K’s lovely mutts, Harley and BeBe, and using the full range of Ms K’s tools (including the grandfather of all hammers) we had the wardrobes and bed built and in position after a couple of hours, much to the approval of Ms K.

I’d not seen Gary for yonks so this mission gave us a great opportunity for a catch up whilst we worked too.

Proper job! 😊
