This evening we set off to clear Mrs T's garden in order to make way for a new patio.

Mrs T was amazed we had turned up given the earlier downpours but we reassured her we were there to help come rain or shine!

The main jobs were to cut back the trees and bushes, and remove the grass, weeds and roots.

Turns out this was Beth's 100th mission!! Saturday marks her two year anniversary with her coach, and Tuesday will be her 500th task - WHAT A SUPERWOMAN!

Fortunately the rain held off and the wet ground gave us some assistance. We struggled a little (ok, a lot) with some of the tougher roots. They were very bizarre looking - bright yellow roots with snake like tendrils. They looked like something out of Harry Potter but the reference was lost on Beth who only may have seen a bit of one of the films. She may well be achieving some monumentous milestones this week but at least I would do well in Herbology!

We put in a whole lot of effort but the light faded just as we had managed half the task. One more visit should leave Mrs T's garden ready and waiting for those paving slabs.

Mission accomplished and congratulations Beth!
