On one of the coldest days of the year so far, three intrepid Goodgymers met at Braywick Nurseries. We had been warned that there was no heating or hot water, so Sheila, Anna and Rachel arrived dressed for sub zero conditions. We were met by a cheery Nikki, the main task was to tidy up after Christmas and create large clear areas for the upcoming Spring planting. We hustled and bustled and soon as if by magic the area was spick and span. Hands were getting cold so we called it a day. Out into the cold but satisfied our job was done.

We are a small garden garden centre providing volunteering, work experience and employment for adults with support needs

We run a not-for-profit company, supported by paid staff & community volunteers to provide volunteering, work experience and employment for adults with a wide range of support needs. We are currently having a big clear out across our site, and need help moving all of the material to a skip. This will enable us to better use the space we have to expand our operations and better support our volunteers and staff.
