While lockdown restrictions are in place we're unable to carry out most of our usual GoodGym missions, but as Laura and I live together we could safely head out for a little household litter-pick in our neighbourhood.

It was barely 3 o'clock but the sun was already going down over the River Rea (pronounced 'ray', pun fans), so we only had limited time to collect the usual rubbish from along the path including just three masks – we're still way behind in the The Great Birmingham Mask Off league!

A Litter Pick at the Perry Common Tiny Forest
🗓Today 10:00am

Tiny forests provide flood mitigation, improved air quality, noise reduction near busy roads, havens for wildlife, and spaces for people to connect with nature.
