Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
What can be said about lastnights session……. Hmmmmmmmmm… A night filled with JOY… Corny? Who cares…. The route down to Little Venice is always a nice one. Just get past all the charmers safely as you make your way down to Hyde Park and its alllllll plain sailing.
Our mission? Continue to make the canal look a little bit prettier and a whole lot safer.
We headed off through Piccadilly Circus, down past Green Park, down the magic steps and popped out at Hyde Park. Some dynamic stretches and we were ready.
My Request? Run at a pace that’s a little bit faster than you normally do and try and hold it all the way through the park, we will regroup at the other end.
Why do this? So we gradually get comfortable with running at a pace, which doesn’t feel great at first, but as time goes on we get used to it. From there we build.
We regrouped, discussed our awesomeness and headed off to the task at hand.
Through the back streets of Westminster we weaved and as if by magic we appeared at the canal. Bags out, Hands in gloves, lights on and GO….
We made light work of clearing the flower beds and tow path, bag after bag after bag filled with our autumn friends THE LEAVES….
What’s great about tasks such as these is there will always be work to be done and GoodGym will always be there to do it….
A few snaps in the pouring rain, intervals back to base and smiles all round….
Thanks for coming out to play, till next time my friends….
Please continue to do small things with great love……
