The mistery of missing boxes

Only they weren't missing... just one of Mrs D's stories. What a frosty but beautifully sunny morning today was! ... I got my bicycle out and cycled to Windsor to see Mrs D. She treated me to more of her lovely stories, as I have got accustomed to by now. She was telling me about the time she was in the hospital and she was being administered morfine, to alleviate the pain. She said that it made her pain go away, but was suffering from hallucinations. She was totally convinced that the nurses were up to something. She was hearing them on the phone saying that they needed more boxes and saw a car with flashing lights. She thought that the hospital will run out of boxes with pills, as the nurses were taking them somewhere else!!! She had to tell somebody, so she kept getting out of her bed. And the nurses kept sending her back to her bed! Even after she returned home, she was still convinced that it was all real and kept looking in the local newspapers to see if the conspiracy had been uncovered!!! Mrs D brightens up my days, definitely! Until next time.
