The one with the Auriscope
9 GoodGymers made their way to help the Glyndon Community Centre in Greenwich.

It was a chilly night on Wednesday when 9 of us started out with some duck, duck, goose (which turns out to be a lot harder without seats given most of us forgot where we started). A short run to Glyndon and we got busy in three groups, clearing out cupboards and the storage room by the gym downstairs. We didn't event know there was a downstairs, let alone a gym so that was exciting.
Lots of interesting things were found, including something called an Auriscope which we correctly guessed is for examining the ear. It looked rather ancient but as directed by Andy was put back in the cupboard to live another few decades. We made lots of trips back out into the cold to throw the unfortunates in the dump. As usual we were surprised by how much we got done so quickly. I don't know why I'm always surprised by our efficiency but I am. We are pretty awesome aren't we, Greenwich?
It's very gratifying seeing how much painting work we've done there over the last 18months and our help is hugely appreciated by Andy.
After a quick run back and a rather punishing workout bringing Sally up and down, we stretched and headed on our way. Thank you team and welcome back to Franki for your second task with us and looking forward to getting to know you better!
See you next week for the One with the Anniversary!
