The plot thickens…
7 GoodGymers made their way 2.0km to help the Home-Start Slough in Slough.
- Tuesday, 21st of June 2022

We were back at the allotments this evening helping Home Slough with their pre/post natal therapy garden space.
We met on Shaggy Calf Lane and with task brief and warm up done we walked/jogged down to the allotments to crack on with plot 1.
The plot thickened as we approached our intended area to see how overgrown it had become but we knew weed could get this plot sorted!
The perfect balance
Having a system in place and willing helpers is the perfect balance to getting a task done quickly and efficiently. So with Savi skimming the top layer and Sandy, Kam, Pam and Abdul turning over the soil we achieved equilibrium!
Whilst Sut was having a wheely good time filling up the wheel barrow!
Within 30 minutes weed skimmed, pulled, turned over, swept and tidied up the plot! Just in time for some photos and fitness!
Balan-Singh
So with the options of a strength workout or agility, power or balance the team chose balance!
With pendulum swings, skaters, tree poses and runner drives our man Mr Savi Singh was on fire! We deffo wins the balance award!
Next week we are back at our local hospital for a car park litter pick!
