Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Mridula Iyer
Good afternoon Goodgymmers! Todays mission was to go see the spritely but self isolating Mr. H to do a small top up shop for him.
Small segway, my walks/runs to the grocery shops have taken me past some pretty awesome sights including a phone box which has been repurposed into a FREE library. HOW COOL IS THAT!!
I managed to find Mr H's Flat but spent a further 20 minutes trying to figure out where the entrance was whilst some security guards had a giggle watching me wander around like a confused drunk goldfish 17 times around the residential block.
Finally getting up to Mr. H's flat we had a quick chat about the what he wanted. He was unsure of whether he had given me enough money but thanks to having a very bored mind that is in dire need of simulation and the 14 million grocery missions(slight exaggeration) I've done, I can now roughly guess the price of items at the supermarket! I think this, along with the crystal maze would be my mastermind subjects!
Off to Sainsbury's I went, where again I proceeded to spend 10 minutes trying to find the entrance (entrances and I were not bffs today) I finally made it in and completed the shop. I took no chances and asked a security guard to point me in the direction of an exit. Thanks sainsbury's guard, you shaved 30 minutes off me wandering around for another 45 minutes!
I wandered back to Mr H's to drop off the shopping. He thanked me profusely and tried to offer me the change from the shopping (which I declined).
I then proceeded to walk back home and briefly wondered if I would remember where the entrance to my flat was. Fortunately I was not bested by my own front door and got back safe and sound!
Stay safe goodgymmers!

Nice work Mridula - did you borrow a book or two on the way as well?
