Two Coventry GoodGymers took on their first mission to support Mrs E weeding her front garden and trimming an overgrown bush beginning to block her path.

Mrs E enjoys being able to see the plants growing and looking at the flowers through the window. Meera and Vic were able to remove the weeds growing, turn the soil, trim the bush and clear the path so she can easily get round without tripping. Her last task for us was to try to get a sycamore tree out that had taken root in her garden wall, after many attempts, the sycamore’s deep roots defeated us but we were able to trim it up and make more manageable.

Mrs E was really appreciative of the support offered and it was so lovely to see her happy with the work done.
