Oh the joy of an indoor task on a cold winter's night!

Runners and walkers alike made haste to the warehouse of fun at Emmaus where Ewa has taken over from Xanne as our host.

The task was one of those that sounds simple but turns out to be slightly trickier - as well as some bric-a-brac sorting, the main plan was to take up the remains of the old sticky tape marking the "keep clear" fire escape corridors on the steps and mezzanine, then replace with fresh tape. The tape had other ideas.

After much scraping, new tape was eventually laid looking very smart (and safe) with joins matched up perfectly* before a longer run back to Queen Square, expertly led by Maria to keep GoodGymmers warm.

*if you didn't look at the join :-)

We believe that people who are homeless and socially excluded have something to offer. We encourage people to use their skills to change themselves – and change the world.

We know that overcoming homelessness often means more than a roof over your head. That’s why we support people to work their way out of homelessness, providing meaningful work as well as a stable home for as long as someone needs it.
