Mrs V and her husband had managed to sort out the phone issue before I got there, so I spent the time trying to work out what was wrong with the TV box. Sadly it seemed as though the box was kaput but I did manage to get their Freeview TV working so they could watch their programmes again. They've only been able to have the radio on since the box broke, so they were really happy to have working channels again. I was happy for the motivation to get out on my bike (despite the rain) and get some miles in for Ride September. Everyone's a winner this eve!
