Meeting on a warm summery night in the center of Cator Park, four GoodGymers came out to enjoy a spot of gardening and watering.
It was Ashley's first ever GoodGym and he was a natural! Got stuck into the task without any questions. He was pulling out buckets of water from the stream flowing through Cator Park. He really owned that job, taking it to heart with pure dedication.
We all had a go at pulling water from the stream, but all these buckets of water had to go somewhere.... Slowly, but methodically we watered all the saplings, roses (at least, that's what Helen and Millie said they were...) and other plants.
Once all the trees and plants had their cool down drink, we progressed to weeding. We all wondered which were weeds and which ones weren't. Yet, ones person's weed is another person's flower...
It wouldn't be a GoodGym Community Mission without a bit of weeding!
The hour pass by like a breeze and it is true; many hands make light work!

It was a great evening - everyone friendly and welcoming, and the camraderie made the task all the more fun. Looking forward to more missions now :) .
Great to be apart of your first ever GoodGym Good Deed. Yes, many GoodGym tasks are like the one we did tonight (same spirit and camaraderie), so I'm sure you will be attending a few more and hopefully, I'll catch you on a few soon! π
Great teamwork everyone and welcome Ashley! It must have been hard work lugging buckets of water in the heat!
