This task was LITTER-ally a load of rubbish !
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Urban Green Newcastle in Newcastle.

I resisted the temptation walking into Exhibition Park to join the teenage drinking and cannabis party (!) and carried on to meet Seb for our litter pick this evening! We both then resisted the temptation to tag along with Gosforth Harriers who were gathering for their session at the bandstand, (kudos to Seb for coming back after a fractured leg bone!) and got straight on with the task. After the windy weather we thought lots of litter would have collected but we were surprised how little there was (that’s a good thing, right?) Maybe it was too dark to see all the rubbish and we might’ve looked a bit odd scrambling around bushes with our phone torches! However, we collected a bag and a half each in about 45 minutes so we were happy with our evening’s work! There’s a repeat of the task on Sunday - maybe we’ll collect more in the daylight!
