Thorn in the side, two in the bush
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Saturday, 26th of January 2019
With the winter finally creeping out, it was time to start trimming back the clutter and make space for new growth in the garden as spring is coming!!
Ms B has taken pride in her garden and outlook on life so now it was time to make sure this stayed intact with the aid of Goodgym coming with a bang in the form of Jill and Stephen!!
After introductions and assessment of tasks it was down to action, Stephen taking care of the overhanging branches and over jealous rose bush that seemed to be jacked up with thorns coming from all angles. Jill building the (actual) groundwork for new growth by removing the weeds and turning soil.
After some upheaval, a lot of clipping, soil turning and a few profanities (mostly from Stephen at the rose bush debris) we wished Ms B a fond farewell and went on our merry ways.

Looks like you both did a great job here, well done. Some impressive shrubbery out there!
