Daryl, Nathan, Paulin and Sam met at Thorlands as we concentrated on clearing an overgrown area in the Forest Garden.
We needed the thicker gardening gloves as we were dealing with brambles and thorny bushes as we chopped them down in the tonne bag to decompost slowly for future beds as carbon capture. The green bits that we pulled up was put on the compost pile in both the Kitchen Garden and the Walled Garden. Paulin ensured the buddleia was chopped down for the compost heap whilst Daryl helped bring mulch with a son and father team, who are residents near Thorlands.
We managed to clear a lot with the second attempt happening on Wednesday.
