Three can see clearly now
3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Saturday, 29th of April 2017
On a sunny Saturday morning three Goodgymmers David, Lici and Rosie ran to West Hampstead to help out Mrs K and her husband with a spot of window-cleaning. Kudos to David who legged it all the way from Wandsworth to lend a hand with this task!
The door was opened to us by Mr and Mrs K's lovely carer Ayesha, who provided us with buckets, cloths and cleaning fluid, and we were good to go! After a brief reccy of the windows to be cleaned indoors and out we split into teams and set to work. Within an hour and a half we had finished the job and Mr and Mrs K were able to see the sun shining again into their kitchen again. We had time for a quick chat and a cuppa before bidding Ayesha and the Ks farewell and speeding off on our separate ways. Now that Mrs K can see her lovely courtyard garden more clearly, she thinks it could do with a bit of a tidy-up so we could be back again before too long - watch this space!
