To HOT TO TROT tonight at Goodgym Bath for our 9 runners who braved the heat for a scenic 4K run to a community garden at the top of Park street.

Two Goodgym tourists tonight with Dave from Westminster and Legion from Bristol and it was lovely to share the sights of our beautiful city.

A debrief about tonight's task and all the hazards connected , armed with water we took a probably not required warm up and headcount before running out along the river towards Great Pultney street for the benefit of our Goodgym tourists. Rosie kindly offering to back mark as she still had the first aid kit from our Saturday run.

A few opportunities on the way for squats and tricep dips before some walking lunges at the Royal Crescent before our final assent up through st James's square and to the task location at the top of Park street to meet our host Lyn .

A full 40 minutes to devote on our task to give some much needed TLC to this community garden . So armed with SHEARS , SECATUERS and a FORK the group got to work on clearing the bindweed and nettles and brambles clearing the pathway and working back towards the boundary wall.

Great to hear the chitter chat tonight as the group worked away digging and clearing before filling the compost heaps to the brim.

It was soon time to pack up and clear the path with some side lunges ( no brush to hand ) but where there's a will there's a way.

A group photo with Dave doing a CORY STYLE SELFIE ( it's a Westminster thing) before a nice run back down and a few more squats turning into a rendition of the YMCA dance as a car pulled up PLAYING THAT TUNE, bringing a smile to the drivers face whilst waiting at the lights.

A well deserved stretch tonight and a reminder to bring your ID along to the next group run.
