Tidying up after the Thirst of Noel
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Haringey.
- Saturday, 10th of December 2016
Light drizzle and a slightly sore head from the GG Christmas party was possibly not the ideal start for a litter pick in Noel park, but after 15 mins of fresh air and green space things were looking a little better.
In fact, following a warm welcome from Maka, the resident football coach and a short chat with a particularly lovely lady who stopped say thanks, everything was starting to feel pretty good again.
There was plenty of litter to collect - some bundles of magazines, a couple of odd gloves and even a festive bauble were amongst the finds. But mostly it was cans - around 50 in all by the end of the morning.
With three less sacks worth of litter in the park it was time to go back to Bristol - and just possibly have a short nap on the bus.
