Tip, rattle and roll that compost!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Richmond.
- Sunday, 7th of October 2018
A beautiful sunny Sunday morning in Mrs J's secret garden and a very enthusiastic Mrs J welcomed us to her mission.
And an even bigger welcome to Camilla to her first GoodGym task and running from Twickenham.
Our task was to upturn the compost bin and spread it across the bottom of Mrs Js secret garden. Its secret because Mrs J had to lead us along a hidden little jungle like path to get to her secret oasis.
A most unusual compost bin on sinking legs into the soil after all the rain yesterday, made it a good upper body work out. We succeeded with a little help from a spade to help us scoop out the last bits of compost.
And job done, mission accomplished.
On our way out, Mrs J thanked us with a Snickers bar for an energy boost on the way home and we all wished each other an enjoyable Sunday.
