Tonight we were back working with the wonderful charity, Motherwell. We always love working with Kate and her team and helping with some of the great initiatives that they run as part of the work they do.

But before we got started, we of course carried out our exercise session! Tonight we did a nice brisk walk down into Wistaston & back. The weather was kind to us, and it stayed dry for the whole time we were out which we were grateful for. The heavens opened once we were safely back inside!

Tonight Maurice, Karen & Nicola had the pleasure of sorting out all the dressing up clothes in preparation for World Book Day. The charity receives many donations of fancy dress items which are no longer needed by families but are then passed on to Motherwell to provide to other families. Not only is it a great way of helping to support families who possibly can’t afford to purchase such items but it’s also great to recycle them and help the environment in the process.

As always, we had great fun while we busied ourselves (some of us were busier than others 😊) in sorting out all the different dressing up outfits. We had everything from Princesses to Villains (Darth Vader). We managed to sort through all the boxes and separate everything out into themed piles. It was very satisfying to see them all sorted at the end of the night. Hopefully it’s been helpful for the team and saved them some time tomorrow!

Well done team (all be it a small one this week) on another great task completed.
