Another muggy Birmingham evening but there were certainly no mugs about at the Birmingham Central Food Bank where two Brum GG'ers were busily helping out the regular volunteer shift.

Due to a decrease in donations over the past month, the sorting shift is now every two weeks, although thanks to some very kind donations from local businesses, it meant that everyone had to work twice as hard to weigh, sort and date the donations. Ben made 'sweet' progress working through the custard and fruit juice and I managed to 'meat' my maker, dating tins and tins of spam and corned beef.

Along the way we had the delights of some Heart Radio, which tied in with a large donation of pop chips lead to a pop overload! Hence this weeks pun!

Good Work Everyone!
