Flipping Good Night
The last run for February for 17 strong team at Goodgym Bath with a 5 k run to Foodcycle Bath at St Mary`s Catholic Church on Julian road to help them move everything from one storeroom to another. You can find out all about the good they do and get involved http://foodcycle.org.uk/location/bath/
A BIG CHEER for Aaron
our latest new member joining us for tonight’s run. We also have Joseph in camp tonight from Foodcycle so guaranteed not to get lost for this one, well that’s the plan anyway but just to be safe we had my good self back marking. A change to the planned route just to make it a little bit longer on the way out but the promise of a short one back to base after the task, so Steve and sat Nav Joe led the group out this evening.
Well done Emily on her 5k PB at the weekend bagging 3rd Lady ... Whoop!!!
Fiona was our task host this evening was on hand to welcome us and show us exactly what was needed to be done in this 30 minute slot. Two cupboards and full contents needed to be relocated from one building to a freshly painted store room near the kitchen. Lots of shuttling backwards and forwards with stock and two cupboards with Joe organising one end and Carol monitoring the other end. Fiona was busy rustling up some pancakes for the troops with the invitation to have a go at
TOSSING A PANCAKE
Plus they got to eat some protein balls made by Joe, Lucky bunch in Bath with Foodcycle refreshments. Thank you sooo much Foodcycle ... You Rock!!
As always time flies when you’re having fun and it was soon time to make our way back to the leisure centre. A reminder to everyone about bringing along their ID next week if you want to be paired up with your very own running coach, I can thoroughly recommend from my own experience but if you`d like more info speak to Emily or myself. Thanks everyone for another great evening in equally great company. Tonight’s Pun goes to Joe and Mary ... combo.
Look forward to seeing old and new for more action next week.
