Traid is a charity working to stop clothes from being thrown away. They turn clothes waste into funds and resources to reduce the environmental and social impacts of our clothes. When we turned up at 6 they still had a big queue for their £1 sale. After the last sale went through, Steven, Frances and I quickly got to work. Within an hour and a half, all the old stock had been bagged up to be put to good use, the shop had been cleaned and the fresh stock was hung in a very pleasing colour coded system. The time flew by and lifting bin bags of clothes is a great arm work out, (getting them up from the basement wasn't bad for the legs either). Special shout out to Frances who was completing good deed number 501! Incredible.
