All over Goodgym this week many areas where supporting their local Traid and here in Haringey was no different.

Whilst out leader is currently on the mend four Goodgymers traded places with him to be coming group leaders, writers, photographers and even fashion models.

Dave displayed the latest in Chucky fashion whilst Sam gave us a glimpse of this Spring's must have Winter wear.

We completed the task with such efficiency I think we may have been offered a job.

After completing the task Dave have a quick fitness session of drills which can not improve your running form but help you not get injured whist in run.

Fitness session: Balloon head running Socket to pocket (don't do the twist) Relax those shoulders! Lean in, and put your best foot underneath you. Lengthen that back leg.

We then went our separate ways into the night looking forward to heading back to Traid in a month or so to do it all again.

TRAID
TRAID (Textile Reuse and International Development) is a UK charity working to tackle and solve the problems caused by producing, consuming and disposing of clothes.

TRAID (Textile Reuse and International Development) is a UK charity working to tackle and solve the problems caused by producing, consuming and disposing of clothes. We do this by providing convenient ways for the public to reuse clothes while delivering education to people of all ages to raise awareness of the powerful environmental and social benefits of reducing our clothing footprint. The funds we raise are committed to global projects benefiting the people and places making our clothes. The work we support aims to improve environmental and social outcomes from supporting cotton farmers grow organic cotton to helping retailers to eliminate child labour in their supply chains. Most of the funds are raised through our charity shops, and in order to do so, we hold five Sale periods a year across our eleven branches, these last approximately 2-3 weeks. The last day of the Sale, after closing time, we need to pack the leftovers and leave the shop clear for it to be restocked the following day, here is where your teams can be of much help.
