20 Hackney GoodGymers tan 6k to Abney Park Cemetery to plant a 750 spring flowering bulbs.

Great to have you all along last night!! Be well done to *Fiona and Caroline * for tackling their first GoodGym challenge!!

Heading over to one of our favourites Abney Park Cemetery to get stuck in with some epic bulb planting! We had a lovely surprise with Park Ranger Tom bringing along some new lights to aid our efforts! We split into pairs and dug trenches and holes to make hopefully beautiful flowering patterns along the main path next Spring.

We had 3 types of bulb to be a bit creative with with our arrangements , we managed to keep a great pace while having a good social natter!

With time ticking by and all the bulbs planted we zoomed off on the 3k return run lead by Rich back to base with perfect back marking on show from Eva. Thank you guys you were a big help to me!!

quiz master Ros had a top question tonight!! Which is the most peaceful country in the World??? the correct answer is Iceland 3 astute runners nailed that one!! Well played!!

Next week we are shovelling and shifting in Gascoyne Estate community garden, please join us for that!

A little reminder about the GoodGym Christmas Party on Friday the 8th in Battersea Arts Centre and our last run of 2017 on the 12 with a Christmas Social after to round off a great year!

Have a top week

Smooth Running

Joel
