Today, Gosia and Dom popped round to Mrs K's in Southwark to trim back some pesky plants for her

Mrs K had asked GoodGym if a couple of runners could come by and trim the hedges in her front garden, so that they weren't getting in the faces of passers-by (the hedges, that is) and so that she'd be able to perch on her front wall if she popped out front. Gosia and I got to chopping and trimming, quickly getting everything in line.

Since we'd made such good time, we asked if there was anything else we could do; we then sprung into action on her back patio, trimming back some plants that were looming ominously over the patio and beginning to lean on the patio awning. Again, we jumped in and chopped away, making things a bit safer for Mrs K, and also clearing the plants enough that she'd get a bit of sunlight in her kitchen each day.

It was a fantastic task; we got loads done in just over an hour, and made Mrs K feel a bit more relaxed, safe and comfortable in a home she'd lived for over 75 years!
