The first of Area Activator Simon and John's busy Sunday morning of Goodgym community missions.

The team at Caledonian Junior parkrun were a bit short on numbers this time, due to the half term holiday related absences. However, we were able to contribute towards providing a full functional team to allow the event to go ahead!

Junior parkrun is a free weekly timed 2km event, specially created to allow 4-14 year olds to run safely and independently. John helped as a finishing token checker, while Simon lead the warm up and served as a marshal for a key turning point between laps 2 and 3 (this is a 3 lap course!). Afterwards, we picked up a couple of coffees from the Tolpuddle Café, and walked to Penn Road Gardens (our next task)!
