Georgeta and Sheila decided to continue the International Womens Day Quest and visit all of the Windsor sites in one trip by bike. We met at Maidenhead railway station , and took the scenic route to Windsor along the beautiful Jubilee River. In a very crowded Windsor we visited the sites for the 3 Queens and Nell Gwynn, and then decided to head out to into the Great Park to find the location for Florence Dixie. We took the main road, and then an undulating road through the Great Park until we eventually found the statue. There were fantastic views back to Windsor castle. Sheila regretted putting off a stop at a tea shop until after we had visited the statue, as it had closed by the time we got back. Sorry, Georgeta! We found a more scenic cycle path to take us back into town, and visited the landmark sites for 7 more of the inspirational women. We were beginning to flag a bit by then, so took the most direct route home, waving to our trees in Sutherland Grange as we passed by. In all we had cycled more than 40km and shall sleep well tonight! Thanks to Amy for putting the Quest together - it certainly proved to be an epic cycle ride
