Eight GoodGymers met at local charity St Joseph's Hospice, which was holding its quarterly fundraising jumble sale to raise money for its work providing free support for people affected by serious illnesses. Four of us arrived fresh from Stoke Newington Common having already helped our friends the Tree Musketeers on another mission. As the jumble started to wind down, GoodGym got to work!  Everything unsold needed packing away and carted off to either the basement, the storage container outside or their charity shop in Well Street. We loaded up enormous blue trollies with bags and boxes and put our Goodgym muscle to good use to get everything packed and stored in the right place. In no time at all we had two floors packed away and clear. Just in time to pick out a few gems from some books otherwise destined for the bin! The next jumble sale is 20th July, get it in yer diaries!
