We had the pleasure of having Jenni and Lisa back with us for our group this evening. They must have heard it was to Hope Housing and were desperate to find out if we were going to be moving something we had already moved once or twice before.....

TODAY WAS SARAH'S

50th

Good deed with us and it's an amazing achievement...especially as she's probably done more than that but they didn't get registered??? Got there in the end!!!

After our team talk outside Flirt we set off on our scenic route to Hope Housing, heading downhill then uphill towards Meyrick Park, where we strategically split up, one group doing hill repeats and after deciding 5 was enough headed up along the park and out the other end. The other group cut a corner and went to Hope Housing a shorter route. Some had niggles and some weren't feeling the longer run having half marathons this weekend etc, but still wanted to get out into the fresh air and hang out! Very committed people and we love you for it!

We only arrived about 5 minutes apart...probably longer....and the team led by Caprice was already organising the van and helping move things around for Mark.

The group running a longer distance arrived just in time to help unload the van of tiles...tiles from Spain...which is the most exotic thing some of us touched all summer! It'll have to do!

After unloading the van in no time, thanks to Lisa's ability to crouch and squat inside the van passing out box after box, and the team using their superior human chain skills, which they have perfected, we moved some metal cupboards. These cupboards will be used to store soap that the residents will make themselves.

This housing unit where we usually help out at has now grown to having 6 extra rooms, that's amazing and allows them to help even more people! We love helping this amazing charity. They do great things.

On our way back the gang split in two again one going a slightly longer route than the other and meeting back at Flirt.

Thank you Caprice for back marking. Lisa for allowing us to use her car as bag storage. Amber for last week's title which should have been in the Pun of the Month contest.....and all of you guys for chucking your gloves at me! You're aim is getting worse! hahahaha

See you next week guys!! Good luck to those of you running the half this weekend. Deep breathe, one step at a time. It'll be ok.
