Up early for the morning shift!

Helen and James, representing the fine boroughs of Wandsworth and Islington respectively, met up before work on Tuesday to help Mrs J rearrange her living room ahead of her husband's return from hospital.

Mrs J welcomed us into her home and we quickly found out she'd already done most of the work herself! We were simply asked to move a small yet sturdy cabinet from one side of the room to the other. After a bit of a chat about her plans for the room, we also managed to move a lounger chair she was planning to shift herself later when a hospital bed was to be delivered.

The result was a living room all set for the return of Mrs J's husband.

We were very happy to help, even if that meant moving just two pieces of furniture. We hope our small contribution made a difference to Mrs J - it was certainly lovely to meet her and spend some time together on a Tuesday morning.
