Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Nick Moore
Mr H's daughter was on hand to provide instructions on how she wanted to clear the upstairs spare bedroom in Mr H's house to accommodate a bed, and when she first showed me the room, there seemed rather a lot to try and shift in a single mission. However, more hands do make light work, and we were determined to try and get it done in the time allocated.
Before I'd even discovered the loft described in the mission, I was up and down the stairs moving boxes, bags and chairs into a small shed in Mr H's garden, and only once this task was done, did we open up the loft hatch and stow quite a few light/empty boxes into the attic space. By the end there was certainly a lot more space in the spare room and I definitely felt I'd got my daily step count in, even if most of it involved some form of vertical motion.
