Report written by Manjit Birk
The skies over Slough were kind to us this evening.... luckily for us as we had our longest run distance to date this evening and to our releaf it stayed dry
BANG ON TIME - CAN YOU BE-LEAF IT
As we did have a longer run I kindly asked everyone to arrive 15 minutes earlier so we could leave bang on 18:30... and they didnt let me down... we did our welcome brief, a few pre run stretches and headed out to Our Lady of Peace school to do our task all in good time with a nice steady running pace
SIGHTS OF SLOUGH
Sandy was quite pleased that she saw another side to Slough... that Bath Rd is a tourist attraction in the making...
We did have a short pit stop at McDonald's to pick up Chrissy and Meera who were doing the shorter distance run.. A huge well done to Meera who ran her furthest distance ever with Goodgym this evening
WHY WAS THE BROOM LATE FOR SCHOOL?... BECAUSE IT OVERSWEPT
The broom might have been late but we were on time! We met with Paul, the school caretaker and he gave us a sweeping statement of the task in hand...
With the tools in hand... Ricky stepping in to collect his tool first! We split into 3 teams and cracked on with clearing the playgrounds off the wet leaves..
With an almost full team tonight, apart from Nisha who was absent without leaf we practica-leaf-inshed the task in no time.. 30 minutes in and it looked immaculate
LOVE TO LEAF YOU
Tools down, we headed back to base... which for a couple of us was Mccy D's... we said a sad love to leaf you to Chrissy and Meera whilst the rest of us ran back
A IS FOR ABSENT... B IS FOR BURPEES... C IS FOR CATERPILLAR
Sometimes it pays to be back marker.. as Sandy and I merrily made our way back... we realised we had missed Harsha's burpee fitness session.. such a shame!
Another great task done by you all! Next week we are leaflet dropping in Britwell...
Dont forget to put the social in your diaries.. Friday 30th November, The Corner House, Windsor from 19:30
Have a great week
