It was Sheila's usual Friday morning shift at the vaccination centre, and it was lovely to be joined by Kanika who kindly filled in for a couple hours for an absent volunteer. We had a steady stream of patients, but were on slightly higher alert than usual due to Teresa May also being at the Town Hall for the Remembrance Day commemoration. The morning passed without incident, and at 11am the 80's music was switched off and everyone stopped to observe the 2 minutes silence. By 12.30 another 200 people had gratefully received their COVID boosters, and many with a bonus 'flu jab too

Good to see you this morning Sheila! Did you get a visit from Theresa May at the centre?

I believe so, but I was on my tea break at the time!
