Picture the scene. It's noon on a November Saturday. It's been raining a lot, and it's looking gloomy. That's until 4 GoodGym runners made it along to Ms F's home to help her come home from hospital!

Ms F has been in hospital for a couple of weeks, and is soon going to be coming back to live and be cared for in the comfort of her home. Before that can happen, the team supporting Ms F asked if some runners could help make some changes in the home so that Ms F can have the equipment brought in that she'll need to be safe and comfortable in her home.

We met her daughter and granddaughter who'd made a great start on getting things organised. In our time with them, we had some great chat with them, and shifted several large items of furniture so that they can make the last few changes needed. Katy proved herself to be a pro at taking down and replacing curtains, and we all worked on getting everything moved.

After an hour, the home looked quite different, and Ms F's family were relieved that she is now one step closer to coming home. After a nice chat about running (and Ms F's granddaughter liking the sound of parkrun!), we bade them adieu and left to enjoy the rest of our day!

(We also enjoyed a squirrel on our way off afterwards. Emily and I also enjoyed some exciting peacocks we encountered on our way over. Of course pictures are included)
