Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Ian Moore
Shopping for Mrs R proved a delight.
Got to Sainsbury's and got in with nearly no queue, though forgetting a £1 coin meant I couldn't get a trolley :-( . Turns out I'd also forgotten my reading glasses, which meant some interesting arms length reading of the shopping list!
As well as the usual groceries (milk, bread, veg etc), Mrs R had asked for Scottie shortbread biscuits. I wasn't quite sure what this was, so I was delighted to find them. Nice to give Mrs R a bit of a treat as well as the basics, though it turned out the blueberries were her real treat. I have to agree with her on that, fresh blueberries on your cornflakes makes for a super breakfast.
Then we had a lovely chat on the doorstep, and I was pleased to find that Mrs R was absolutely thrilled with the support she's been getting from all sorts of bodies across Lewisham - us, of course, but also the hospital and other bits of the care network.
Great way to start the day.

Lovely report, Ian, and the chats on doorsteps seem to be so important these days!
