Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Kingston upon Thames runner
What a glorious day for a 13km run for Tim and a cycle through Richmond Park for Samia!
We met outside Mr W’s flat and when there was no answer to the doorbell we called Kenny, the warden. He was a little confused about who we were and why we were there, but after a bit of explaining and clarifying that we were not the bed delivery people but people to move a bed for the hospital bed to be delivered, he granted us access to Mr W’s flat.
We double-checked the instructions to make sure we were moving furniture in the right room (always wise!) and planned how and where the hospital bed could fit. We then decided on the mattress flip and bed flip strategy - and with the lightest mattress and bed known to humans (when Samia can carry a mattress single-handedly that’s saying something), we were done in a jiffy. Hopefully the hospital bed can now be delivered and Mr W discharged home soon.
Hope you find the river and an ice cream and make it home safely Tim!

A lovely report, Samia. Hope you managed to get that ice cream in the end, Tim!
