We didn’t come a cropper!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Haringey.
- Saturday, 14th of September 2019
Two Barnet goodgymmers met up this morning - both slightly red-faced after their respective local park runs - ready and rearing to get stuck into a gardening task.
Mrs L’s garden was overgrown and needed a bit of TLC. Garden equipment was limited, but the sun was shining and it was a glorious day so we got stuck in enthusiastically. Fortunately, a friendly neighbour was also doing some gardening and was kind enough to lend us some more useful gardening tools. Rob brought out his inner George-of-the-jungle and went lopping through the tall scrub whilst I used some sacoteurs to trim some unruly bushes and branches. The two hours flew by and we were quite chuffed with our progress!
