We didn't get bamboo-zled!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.
- Saturday, 20th of October 2018
Here's what Mrs D of BS6 had to say about the mission:
"Excellent", "tremendous work!"
A foggy morning broke out into a wonderful sunny afternoon as two GoodGym runners helped Mrs D with her front garden.
Richard arrived fresh from the earlier group run to the Northern Slopes, while Alex was taking a small break from panic-packing for her trip to Canada tomorrow! The two immediately got to work, with Richard picking out weeds from the flower beds and path, and Alex cutting away at the excessive bamboo stalks along her fence.
Mrs D was very pleased at the end of Richard and Alex's work, and came out to make sure they didn't miss a spot! After helping her with some heavy lifting and clearing out some hanging baskets in her back garden, our two runners left, pleased with yet another opportunity to do good in the autumn sun.
