As the heavens opened Caroline and Nicky arrived slightly damp around the edges, however they were warmly welcomed by Mrs M.

Despite the wintery weather outside, our task for this evening was to help Mrs M with her spring clean, by changing her curtains ready for the brighter summer months. We definitely didn’t hang around as Mrs M had kindly cleared the area around the window ready for us and she provided clear and easy instructions about what needed to be done.

First job was to swap over the net curtains. Caroline and Nicky formed and neat net line and as Nicky freed up the old nets from their elastic, Caroline quickly threaded on the new nets. Within minutes our first job was complete!

We then moved onto the main curtains which we unclipped from the rail, before swapping across the hooks to the new curtains. Mrs M also joined our factory line which made us even more efficient! Certainly a great new GoodGym member in the making!!

With all the hooks swapped across we re-hung both sets of curtains and did a final “test pull” to check we had completed the job!

With our tasks completed so quickly we had plenty of time to spare and Mrs M shared some gorgeous family photos and stories with us from her recent milestone birthday celebrations.

A lovely way to end a wet Thursday!
