We(eds) made a lovely day out of a muddy situation
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Lewisham.
- Sunday, 12th of November 2017
On a lovely bright and cold Sunday morning, two Goodgymmers ventured forth to assist in the clearing of an over grown garden.
Mrs M's garden required a little maintenance - so after a wonderful greeting & assessing the workings load (Amber tackling the tree and nettles along the path & Steve uprooting the roots and hidden gems of the grass area) we got down to the gritty work.
After 2 hours of battle, with many losses on the opposing team, Goodgymmers prevailed!!
Mrs M was over the moon with the help and was so happy to be able to get out to her garden.
We said our goodbyes and called it a day, claiming our victory
