Find out about GoodGym TaskForce
Report written by Darren
We four GoodGymmers of Bristol are, one turned up on a bike and one turned up in a car. Field and fountain, moor and mountain, following yonder Google map.
Oh GoodGym wonder, there was no fright. The crypt of St Luke's Church was filled with Fareshare's delight. Van unloading, always proceeding, guide those goods to thy perfect place.
We four GoodGymmers, we four GoodGymmers ...
... unloaded a van for the fabulous folk of Fareshare in Barton Hill to be distributed at St Luke's Church. Job done in record time!
We usually provide a school holiday lunch club and activities during the school holidays for disadvantaged families, since Covid we've been offering food hampers. St Luke's Church Most of the time the families come and collect the food, which most prefer as they get to choose their food. We've been offering more and more food, for which some families have struggled to carry over to their cars or to walk back to their home (less than 10-15min walk). We don't have a large team of volunteers so can't help everyone with the carrying.
