That's right 2 superheroes (sorry Goodgymers) went at lightening speed from two separate ends of the borough and got to their mission in record time. They were greeted with a beaming smile from Mrs P who was excited for them to get to work on her front garden.

The first troublesome culprit causing Mrs P no end of hassle was a small tree that was encroaching on her window and her view. This tree though had roots, deep roots that went far into the soil with no intention of leaving. But we were not to be beaten, even without gardening gloves, we used every tool, stick, rock, clothing we could find to get this villain out of the ground. Africa displayed superhero strength, pulling and pushing until finally it was lifted out of the ground and destroyed!

Next it was the rose bush. although beautiful, this villain was deceptively nasty, thorns were it's weapon of choice, but again we were not beaten , we took the loppers to it, making sure that it no longer cunningly caught Mrs P as she passed by.

And finally, although not posing a major threat but causing pain to the eyes we tackled the overgrown grass and tidied up the rest of the garden; planting 3 new plants that we bring colour and light for Mrs P.

We may not have "saved the day" but we definitely had a great morning helping a very appreciative resident of the Richmond Borough.

Mission accomplished!
