Tonight we had a super septet for an evening's grass yanking and tree planting.

4 of us met at the Bridge House, shared our top Christmas traditions, and hit the road down to Bell Green in Lower Sydenham.

Original GoodGymer from way back Richard is working on a project with the local primary school to make a tiny forest on a patch of land by the school. Earlier this year we played a part in planting some trees but now more trees have arrived, it was time for a new batch.

We did a mixture of things:

💪 Pulling back grass to allow the wee trees to get more water

💩 Rosie did an excellent job putting manure round the tree bases

🌳 And we managed to get a good number of whips (baby trees) into the ground.

Another good deed done and just in time for Christmas ✅🎄
