The old padlock had seized up and had to be broken off the last time the clients were at the SHP Allotments and thankfully no one had taken anything while the shed was unlocked. We got a new lock so our first job was to configure the combination to the original number. There were some runner bean seedlings that the SHP clients didn't have time to plant at our last session so Linda pulled some more struts off the broken green house to use a canes and got on with that while Ed watered all the other produce. It was lovely to see a tiny but perfect bean had appeared on one of the young plants. The hour passed very quickly and there was no time to complete any other jobs, luckily the paths are not particularly over grown at the moment so we could leave that until next time.
