We've, been pacing in the wind
13 GoodGymers made their way 5.0km to help the Braunstone parkrun in Leicester.
- Saturday, 16th of March 2019
- Led by Huw Davies
A wonderful turn out this morning saw Leicester GoodGym both volunteering at Braunstone parkrun and carrying out a litter pick around the park afterwards.
A sterling job was done by pacers Dave, Conrad (thanks for stepping in at the last minute), Huw, Katy and Jeanette. Mel provided encouragement for runners at the back of the 539 strong field as tail walker. Bravo to Nicola and Lindsay for standing in the full brunt of Storm Gareth on finish tokens and marshaling on the hump respectively.
Thanks also to Bijal, Cliff, Jimmy, Rob and Russ who stayed behind with us to pick litter around the park afterwards.
A great effort from everyone to get out there and do some good today in far from ideal conditions.
