Run Report - By Dan Fisher

Another day, another GoodGym task & another epic run smashed out! No one could rain on our parade!

It was a Monday of injuries, work and ghastly wet weather raining off the bulk of the regular crew. But despite the obstacles destined to be put in their way - Ellie and Dan arrived all pumped and cheerful and ready for the task ahead.

After housekeeping and a lengthy chat about positive energy and life intentions (yes it got deep before we had even started!!) we 2 head out of the sports centre, sped down St Peters Road and arrived at the Willesden High St Police Station ready for round 2 of the epic litter clearance!

On route we met the rest of the motley crew ready to join the GG Brent Monday night party - Hannah and Abraham ! Right on time and the man himself Abraham even turned up with all the gear and a GHETTO BLASTER!!! With French Rap music blaring out at full blast!!! Ooh La La

Rocking out to the french rap we started cleaning up the rubbish we didn't have time to pick up last time.

The rubbish mountains, soon became mole hills and then disappeared entirely. Before we knew it, we had filled up 6 bin bags between the 4 of us!

With spirits high we parted from the police station and started some hill sprints for the fitness part if the session. Ellie had our arm in drive and high hips and I can tell you there was a fair amount of sweating by the end! With our technique fine tuned and legs suitably achey we headed back and headed home.

A big thank you to Abraham again! and well done team GG Brent! Till next time...

DO GOOD. FEEL GOOD. INSPIRE.
