Although we hadn't met each other before, both David and I had had the pleasure of meeting Mr B on previous missions. Now we were back to clean up the mess we had made!

When I first visited Mr B his garden was completely overrun with brambles, and he could barely see out of his kitchen window. After two missions of chopping and pruning I was delighted to see how clear and light his garden now looked. A pear tree had also been exposed, with juicy fruit hanging off every branch. Unfortunately there was also a mountain of garden waste that had been created in the process.

The mission was simple - transport the garden waste into Mr B's brand spanking new brown wheelie bin. David and I made an efficient team: gathering, transporting, dumping and (the fun part) jumping on the waste to get as much in as possible without falling foul of Southwark Council's bin rules. We filled the bin to the brim, but still left quite a mound of rubbish so will have to return for next week's collection!

After a quick sweep up and a lightning fast light bulb change by David, we were on our way.
