Share the love

Linda cycled down to the SHP Allotment delighted to see so many clients and helpers busy on various tasks. You never know how many people you're going to get until the last minute and the more people there the less GG members have to do. 😁

T & Rs plot has some fine specimens of the pumpkin variety growing nicely. Once again there was confusion over what needed pulling up in D's plot, despite D taking it in good spirit (sort of) learning he'd taken up chard and leaving weeds put Mr M off helping and left him sitting sulking in the wheelbarrow 🤣 Linda helped a little by taking up some bindweed and grass (we know no one wants to eat those), then assisted Ms M (there were two Ms) with collecting windfall walnuts. Mr T made a check on the potatoes (not ready yet) then made some adjustments to the shed roof to ensure the water runs in to the water butts.

It was a joy to see the clients engaging with the allotment and starting to see the fruits of their labour.
